About Stan’s
Our Story
Stan’s Painting & Decorating was founded by Stanisa “Stan” Jevtic, who was born on August 24, 1951, in Vrba, Jagodina, Serbia. After completing high school and serving in the Serbian Army, Stan immigrated to the United States in 1972. He began his career as a painter and, through hard work and dedication, established his own commercial painting business in 1986. Under his leadership, the company quickly grew to become the largest commercial painting contractor in Northwest Indiana.
Stan’s Painting & Decorating specializes in painting, taping, and vinyl wall covering installations. We proudly serve a diverse range of clients, including hospitals, schools, casinos, retail spaces, government institutions, and light industrial facilities. Our work can be seen on many of Northern Indiana’s most recognizable landmarks.
Even after Stan’s passing in November 2024, his legacy lives on through our commitment to excellence. Our experienced and highly trained team is equipped to handle any technical challenge and remains dedicated to delivering the highest quality service in the region—and beyond.
