Remembering Stan Jevtic
Founder, Stanisa "Stan" Jevtic was born in Vrba, Jagodina, Serbia on August 24th, 1951 and passed away in November of 2024.
Following high school, he served in the Serbian Army before coming to the United States in 1972. Stan started as a painter and in 1986 opened his own commercial painting business, quickly becoming the largest commercial painting contractor in Northwest Indiana.
He loved his family, pets, entertaining friends and was always welcoming people into his home. He is survived by his wife Janet of 47 years, sons, Miroslav and Marko, and daughter, Ruza, all of Valparaiso, along with his beloved pets Pootsie and Serena. Stan also has two sisters who reside in Illinois, many nieces, nephews and family in Serbia.
